To mark 120 years of Gibson guitar production, Gibson have released a stunning new line up for 2014. These incredible guitars all come with the 120th anniversary marked on the middle trapezoid inlay and this model includes a vintage brown hard shell case, to keep it in pristine condition.
The Les Paul has tradition in its roots and the Les Paul Traditional 2014 model pays tribute to its roots magnificently. The mahogany body has no weight relief, just like the original, and is complimented with the AA figured maple top that not only holds natural beauty, but also gives the Les Paul Traditional 2014 a fundamentally richer tone for you to work with.
The mahogany neck of the Les Paul Traditional 2014 is shaped to a thick profile that was very popular in the late 50s. This is complimented with the bound rosewood fretboard, complete with traditional trapezoid inlays, the middle of which, as mentioned above, contains the 120th anniversary logo.
Giving the Les Paul Traditional 2014 a modern twist, there are 2 new '59 tribute humbuckers with orange drop capacitors, one in the neck position and one in the bridge position. For complete control, you have a 3-way pickup switch and each pickup has its own independent volume and tone controls, via the gold speed knobs with dial pointers.
