The Ibanez RG3727FZ features a solid mahogany body topped with flamed maple to produce incredible sustain and tone that far surpasses its stunning looks. Joining the body is a five-piece maple and wenge Wizard-7 neck that brings the playability that a guitar of this calibre deserves.
Finishing off the neck is a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard that features white mother of pearl dot inlays.
The body comes equipped with a top-of-the range set of DiMarzio PAF 7 humbucker pickups that produce tones akin to the classic humbuckers of the ‘50s. Joining the pickups is an industry-leading Edge-Zero 7 locking tremolo system that features the revolutionary ZPS3 Zero Point spring system.
The ZPS3 system is made of lightweight Duralumin with the addition of two outer springs to makes the guitar easier to tune and provide much greater tuning stability. The Edge-Zero tremolo has a sharp edge for extremely accurate playing and also uses Ibanez innovations to keep string action constant and the bridge surface smooth.
